Campuppet - Our Environmental Impact
Campuppet™ is committed to creating unique fun products in a sustainable, earth friendly manner. We feel that hours of fun shouldn't come at the cost of years of pollution.
All Campuppet puppet kits are designed to have a minimal carbon footprint. We're excited that 100% of the paper used in our puppet kits and the minimal packaging we use, feature eco-friendly recycled paper. All our puppet kits are made using paper that is made from (at least) 30% post-consumer waste. We are constantly striving to do better. The retaining tubes are made from seasonally renewable starches (corn, wheat, tapioca, potatoes), a safe non-toxic alternative to conventional polypropylene plastic, and are 100% biodegradable and compostable. The wooden sticks used in the kits, are made from renewable and sustainable white birch wood. Glue Dots used in the kits, are a double-sided, pressure-sensitive adhesive dots that bond instantly and unlike liquid glues, require no drying time. And they are child safe, mess-free, non-toxic, acid-free and odorless.
All Campuppet printing is done on demand, using a solid ink printing process that produces 90% less waste than laser printing. The non-toxic solid inks are resin-based, free of solvents or hazardous chemicals, similar to crayons, and is safe to handle by even small children.
All puppet kits are shipped to you with a minimal of packaging, all of which is 100% recyclable.
And please, when you are done having fun with Campuppets, express yourself in a earth friendly way by recycling.
